Activity Monitoring System

The site manager enters the construction programme into the Activity Monitoring database i.e. what activities need to be completed, by whom, where, and by when. This information is synchronized onto a PDA. When inspecting progress on site, the Site Manager marks off completed activities on the PDA. The PDA is then re-synchronized and the database is updated.

Weekly progress meetings are more effective because the database easily identifies overdue activities.  Internal and external valuations are also easier because the database identifies completed work by location and by subcontractor.
